This is the error popped up today when I try to launch the Veritas Storage Foundation (Symantec Storage Foundation for Windows) from the Windows 2003 server. It has a option to retry Yes or No, even after clicked on ‘Yes’ button no luck.

This error might occur due to after installing the Veritas Storage Foundation 5.1 SP2 (Service Pack) for Windows operating system and applying any cumulative patch (CP) prior to CP15 and without running Veritas Enterprise Administrator before installing the CP. The following errors will be seen after launching VEA and expanding the storage agent tree.

Resolution: Please install / upgrade the latest available Cumulative Patch that should fix the issue.

The VxVmCE.jar file is not updated properly with the correct file version
